# NEXUS Logo Rollout — June 2026

**Effective immediately.** Retire all previous wordmarks (NE + threshold X + US, chrome drip, Syne text lockups, legacy SVGs).

## New lockup

**NEXUS** + star X + square frame + **BY PRESAGE** — use approved PNG files only. Do not rebuild in CSS, Figma fonts, or plain text.

## Three files (source of truth)

| `assets/logo-nexus-signal.png` | **Primary brand** — outbound decks, hero, print, social headers, partner emails |
| `assets/logo-nexus-vanilla.png` | **Dark backgrounds** — site bar, footer, app chrome on void |
| `assets/logo-nexus-ink.png` | **Light backgrounds** — documents, light-mode UI, warm void |

## Rules

1. **Never crop** the square frame or star.
2. **Minimum height** 32px digital · 12mm print.
3. **Never place** on busy photography without a void plate.
4. **Do not** use old assets: `logo-nexus.svg`, `logo-nexus-smoke.svg`, `logo-nexus-ink.svg`, CSS `logo-word` / `nx-logo-x` markup.
5. **BY PRESAGE** is part of the lockup — do not add a separate Presage wordmark beside it.

## Who needs to update

| Team | Action |
|------|--------|
| **Marketing** | Replace logo on all decks, one-pagers, email signatures, social templates. Use **signal** for outbound. |
| **Web / product** | Bar/footer: vanilla (dark) or ink (light). Hero: signal. See v2 guide §03 + `#snippet-logo`. |
| **Partnerships** | Partnership / Signal / Mirror deck HTML already updated — re-export PDF/PPTX from new lockup. |
| **Press / social** | Signal PNG on void or photography with plate. No text-only “NEXUS”. |
| **Vendors / print** | Request `logo-nexus-signal.png` at 300dpi minimum; preserve clear space. |
